Scouts learning all the sorts of things they need to survive (should they find they need to), with a bit of help from our Scout Grandad Ray. Patrol points for the evening were:

  • Cobras: 10 for inspection + 5 bonus points (black shined shoes, white hankies) + 1 for knot tying skills + 1 for rope wrapping up skills = total of 17 for the evening.
  • Eagles: 8 for inspection + 3 for knot tying skills (the champs there) + 1 for rope wrapping up skills + 5 for hall cleaning skills = total of 17 for the evening.
  • Wolves: 1 for standing-in-line abilities + 10 for inspection + 4 bonus inspection points (shoes/ hankies) + 1 for knot tying skills + 1 for rope wrapping up kills = total of 17 for the evening.

The overall scores are looking really close as we head towards the end of term at Easter. It’s all there to play for! If your patrol organised itself in the hanky/ shoe department you’d probably almost be guaranteed to ace it. There are real (yes real) prizes for each of the winning patrol members!
