Cubs and Scouts are meeting together this week at 6pm (Scouts it’s earlier for you).

We will be fnding out exactly how well the Scouts and Cubs can get along together – you’ll be working in pairs in a very loud and raucous Beetle Drive competition. Many chocolate / praline beetles have been delivered by Santa’s helpers in advance of the big night, and we expect to lose our voices once the evening progresses……………. Parents be prepared to collect very over excited, hyped Cubs and Scouts at 7.30pm.

Just so you know: We try to mix the two age groups once or twice a year to remind us that we’re one big happy family:

  • So that younger ones get a wider sense of the Scouting movement,
  • So that older ones get a chance to work with younger ones and show them what they can do,
  • So we Cub leaders get to join in with our own kids at Scouts,
  • And because it’s fun!

No special clothing instructions – just a prompt start at 6pm. See you there,
